The Liqing-2 Engine: Powering China’s Commercial Reusable Rockets
The Liqing-2 is a 110-ton-thrust liquid oxygen–kerosene engine designed specifically for reusable launch vehicles. It is expected to power rockets in the company’s Lijian launch family, which are being developed for commercial satellite missions.
Long March-10: The Rocket That Could Take China to the Moon
The test began with a low-altitude demonstration flight of a prototype Long March-10 rocket launched from the Wenchang Space Launch Site in southern China. Mounted on top of the rocket was a prototype of the Mengzhou spacecraft, which will eventually carry astronauts on lunar missions.
